Listen To Your Mother: the video

Listen To Your Mother: the video

You may remember that back in May I was a part of Listen To Your Mother, a set of live readings that happen all over the country to honor Mother’s Day. I explained all about it here. Part of the wonderful thing about these readings is that they are recorded, so if you can’t see them live, you can watch them later on YouTube.

Friends, it’s an exciting/terrifying day, because the videos are up! You can watch my story right now by clicking above. Enjoy!

Yes, I did say terrifying. Watching myself on video is like hearing how weird my voice sounded on a tape recorder when I was a little kid, only a hundred times worse. Also, my subject material. Is this really what I want people to remember forever, thanks to the internet?

Enough of that. It truly was a wonderful experience, and I hope you will look up the whole NW Arkansas show and enjoy the stories of my castmates. Just look how cute they are!

This was too much fun – mamas and daughters and dear friends who drove up from Little Rock to hear.

These lovely pictures of the evening were taken by Meredith Mashburn, who in addition to being a wonderful photographer is simply a lovely person.
